All Saints' Church is situated in a large village close to the Norfolk Broads. The present church predominantly dates to the 14th century and has a 15th century tower with figures of the Four Latin Doctors (Ambrose, Augustine, Gregory the Great, and Jerome). The rood screen of 1450 is a gem, attributed to the same school of Norfolk craftsmen responsible for the fine screen at Ranworth, St Helen. Look closely at the figures. Present are St Cecilia with her floral wreath, St George with his dragon, St Catherine with her sword and wheel, St Peter with his keys, St Paul with his sword and book, St Margaret with her dragon, St Michael weighing souls, and St Barbara with her tower. There is a good collection of 19th century glass, including some in French Cathedral style. There are two particularly impressive monuments in the church; one to Gibson Lucas (d.1790) shows a seated figure with two urns and the other to Charles Lucas (d. 1831) shows an angel with an urn and broken column.
