A modest church surrounded by trees which is situated on the pilgrimage route from London to Walsingham. Spot the blocked Normal south doorway when you approach. Interesting features within the church include a St Christopher wall painting, a unsophisticated yet charming reredos painted by a previous incumbent and a spectacular 17C memorial in which Mary Calthorpe is depicted climbing out of her coffin. Barsham Manor is a stones throw from the church and has been described by Mortlock and Pevsner as 'breath-taking' and 'too good to be true.'
