All Saints' Church is a cosy, inviting church steeped in aristocratic history. The substantial round tower is Norman and the rest of the church was built in C13. There are several memorials inside to members of the Walpole family of which Robert Walpole, regarded as Britain's first prime minister, was a member. The family built a small pew opening off the chancel complete with a fireplace and chimney. Here, Victorian glass depicts their coat of arms and shows it with those of Duncombe, two families linked by marriage. Restoration in the 1840s funded by the Lord of the Manor, Richard Walpole, resulted in wider aisles and a new nave roof. A life-size bust memorialises Edward Walpole. Tea and coffee facilities are available.
