St Andrew's church is a C14 building with a beautiful atmosphere, and is the only thatched church in Norwich. In 1993 an impressive modern extension was added.

This 16 mile route starts at Chapelfield Gardens in Norwich city centre and passes the churches of Eaton, St Andrew, East Carleton, St Mary, Bracon Ash, St Nicholas and Hethel, All Saints. Before you know it you've left the hustle and bustle of the city behind and find yourself in beautiful countryside. The rider is rewarded with self-service refreshments (and toilet facilities) at the final church, halfway through the route.
