C13 building with C13 font of Purbeck Marble. Twelve Angels on the Chancel Roof Beams. A Georgian reredos and pulpit, many interesting wall monuments, and images of St George and the dragon. With help from Historic England and the Heritage Lottery Fund extensive repairs and improvements have been made to the church including a disabled toilet and access via the porch, the tower, clerestory and windows. The church now houses the Civic Dragon-SNAP. The dragon is used for various civic functions, e.g. The Lord Mayor's Procession and The Civic Service. A brief history of SNAP can be seen in the church. The church was Highly Commended in the Most Welcoming Church Award 2016.
