Grade I
Welcomes visitors every day of the year. This little gem of a church is picturesquely surrounded by open farmland, but is easily accessible. Its simple and historic interior conveys a strong sense of peace and tranquillity. The beautifully restored 1587 Queen Elizabeth I Tympanum featured in David Dimbleby's BBC programme "The Seven Ages of Britain" and also in "Country Life". Well-worn medieval pew ends also still survive in this unspoilt church. The Visitors' Book and others record the atmosphere as calm and light, with a welcoming feeling. Wheelchair - accessible by prior request. (No services or facilities).
