This charming church is built of flint and freestone. was restored and extended in the Victorian period, it has a Norman font, and other interesting interior features, include early carved corbels re-used in the north aisle. An interesting memorial window with one panel is dedicated to the memory of Henry Hoare of Staplehurst, Kent, a leading 19th century church layman and a partner in the C.Hoare & Co, Bank. The other panel is dedicated to the Revd. William Chapman, who despite being deaf ministered at Colkirk for many years.
