One of two medieval churches which share the same churchyard. St Mary's is the parish church with St Lawrence now reborn as a centre for Training and the Arts. Visitors to St Mary's can see C15 poppy head pews and William Morris Stained Glass.

The Burlingham Woodland Walks are a delight because of the variety of sights along its many routes. There are wonderful views over open fields, paths through both new and mature woodlands, and of course many wonderful churches to visit along the way.

This article focuses on the circular walk via South Walsham. The route is approximately 5.5 miles long and the paths are well established and, due to the level terrain, easy to walk.

The routes start and finish in the free car park next to St Andrew’s Church, North Burlingham which is just off the A47 between Norwich and Great Yarmouth.
