A parishioner has provided extensive information about the 11 WWI casualties recorded on the War Memorial and with her husband installed a poppy for each from the Tower of London Remembers project. Arising out of this research the CWGC accepted that, although his grave cannot be located, one of these eleven, Sidney Saunders, is buried in the churchyard and they have put up a headstone for him. Another parishioner has almost completed making kneelers for each of the fallen.
