St Peter & St Paul's Church is a delightful church, built of the local honey-coloured carstone. The tower is simple, of early 14th century origin, complete with a tall tower arch inside. The north aisle was rebuilt and mullioned windows added to the south aisle as part of an 1881 restoration for the Prince of Wales. A beautiful window in the north aisle of St Peter and St Paul's Church honours the memory of Captain Frank Beck, who was killed at Suvla Bay in Gallipoli on 12th August 1915. It features a magnificent St George, the insignia of the Royal Norfolk Regiment and a depiction of Suvla Bay. Captain Beck, a land agent for the Royal Family, was instrumental in the formation of the famous Sandringham Company of Volunteers (5th Battalion Norfolk Regiment) primarily comprising members of the Royal Staff from the Estate and all disappeared at Gallipoli.
