St Peter's is a light and airy church with a 15th Century stone tower. The stone porch hides a Norman doorway. The rood screen is 15th Century, as are the "poppy" heads on the pews in the nave. There are tracings of an ancient wall painting. The Elizabethan Ambassador to Constantinople, William Harborne, is commemorated in a brass floor memorial.
