St Mary’s, Great Melton
by Matthew McDade
Great Melton was a divided parish in early Norman times hence two churches and one churchyard. The church of All Saints dates back to Saxon times with fine stained glass windows featuring local saints. Both churches were upgraded to Grade II* in 2011. The tower of St Mary was restored in 2014.
