This church building is often locked but a key is available nearby. There will be a notice in the church porch with details of where the key is held.

All Saints' Church in Intwood was restored from a ruinous state by Henry Hobart in the late 16th century. He lived in the original Intwood Hall. If you walk through to the western edge of the churchyard you will see the later hall, built in the mid-19th century for the Unthank family. Memorials in the church commemorate members of the family, including Clement W. O. Unthank who died in Lucknow, India in 1900 following a fall during a game of polo. Unthank Road, a main thoroughfare running through the south west of the city of Norwich, was named after the family. The church's round tower is largely Saxon, apart from a 13th century lancel window and the octagonal top. Notice the carved heads depicting a bishop and a queen in the porch. The church underwent a restoration in 1852, which saw the introduction of the attractive pews. This church is kept locked.
